A Trauma-Informed Chakra Yoga Series for Women
IN HER BODY is a 7-class chakra-informed yoga series created in honor of Women’s Month, offering a calm, respectful space for women to reconnect with their bodies, inner lives, and sense of agency.
This program is rooted in a trauma-informed and psychologically grounded approach, using the chakra system for a somatic framework rather than a diagnostic or prescriptive model. The focus is on listening, orienting, and cultivating safety within the body, and releasing, or transforming, if you decide to go deeper.
Each class offers a 45-minute, Yin-inspired yoga practice, characterized by slow pacing, accessible postures, and intentional stillness. Movements are gentle and contained, with an emphasis on nervous-system regulation, embodied awareness, and self-attunement rather than intensity.
Choice, consent, and self-agency are central throughout the series. Participants are consistently invited to adapt, pause, rest, or opt out…
