The Full Moon on 3 March rises during the final threshold of winter, a liminal moment when the earth has not yet fully awakened, but subtle movement is beginning beneath the surface. Traditionally known as the Worm Moon, this lunation marks the slow softening of frozen ground and the first signs of life stirring after months of contraction. It is a Moon of transition: not yet spring, but no longer held in deep winter stillness.
This Full Moon illuminates the Virgo–Pisces axis, inviting a dialogue between the practical and the intuitive, the embodied and the unseen, the nervous system and the soul. Where Pisces dissolves boundaries and opens us to feeling, memory, and collective currents, Virgo asks how those experiences are digested, integrated, and lived through the body. Together, they speak to healing that is not abstract, but grounded, attentive, and compassionate.
